The Flower City Ballroom Dancers Distribution List is an official source of communication from the chapter. Several times each month you will receive a brief email message with new information from USA Dance including direct website links to give you more details!
The Distribution List and the Yahoo! Discussion Group satisfy different needs and supply different information. The Distribution List provides communication just in one direction, from USA Dance to you. The Yahoo! Discussion Group is a two-way forum for members, studios, dance venues, and others in our dance community. Once the Distribution List is fully subscribed the chapter notices will not be posted in the Yahoo! Discussion Group.
If you want USA Dance information and dance community activity presented in summary views, subscribe to the Distribution List. If you welcome almost daily dance community notices and involvement in active discussion subscribe to the Yahoo! Group as well.
The Distribution List brings you the website links to announcements of upcoming dances, the chapter newsletter, and a monthly list of Rochester area dance opportunities-- known as Dance-at-a-Glance.
The only other messages that you should get from this list are reminders for club events, requests for dancers at nursing homes, and other specifically club announcements.
